Adults
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• treatment of erosive reflux esophagitis;
• long-term maintenance treatment after healing of erosive refluxesophagitis to prevent recurrence;
• symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
In combination with appropriate antibacterial drugs for eradication of Helicobacter pylori and
• healing of duodenal ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori, and
• prevention of recurrence of peptic ulcer caused by Helicobacter pylori.
Patients taking NSAIDs for a long time
• healing of gastric ulcers associated with NSAIDs;
• prophylaxis of gastric and duodenal ulcers associated with NSAIDs in patients at risk.
