Treatment of severe infections caused by microorganisms with established or presumed sensitivity to ceftriaxone and requiring parenteral
Therapies:
• bacterial meningitis;
• pneumonia;
• abdominal infections, namely peritonitis and biliary tract infections; ceftriaxone should be used in combination with another antibiotic with anti-anaerobic activity;
• skin and soft tissue infections;
• bone and joint infections;
• late manifestations of Lyme disease (stages II and III);
